But, as I said, Ansel is seriously messed up and has a lot of soul-searching and growing up to do in this book. I loved how Ansel’s fear of relationships was balanced by Fitch’s tentative explorations, and how they somehow met in the middle and were perfect together. He’s also beautiful and sassy and sexy and utterly bewildered by Fitch. In fact, he’s sadly messed up, thanks to his childhood and his serious self-esteem issues. He might be a touch too perfect at times, actually, but I still loved him anyway.Īnsel is not like Fitch.
I loved how he handled his emotional earthquake and how he pursued Ansel afterwards. He’s straight, yet he feels attracted to Ansel, so he tries to figure out if maybe he’s straight, or bi, or anything else he never expected, and along the way he educates himself on how best to be with another guy. The pair of them are amazing together, but even apart they caught my attention from the start and I love reading about them and getting an insight into the rest of the Sassy Boyz.įitch is amazing.
